Eye-ometry
Using sin/cosine to make the design eternally move, I really enjoyed this project and playing around with different numbers and functions to make things move a certain way. This project also helped in understanding the functions used.
We Call BS
This piece was inspired by the speech from Emma Gonzalez on a recent shooting in Florida. “We Call BS” was one of the main points in her speech and I really liked that and wanted to integrate that into my piece.​
Color
This is a mandala like design done by using videos from one of the night shows at the Disneyland Resort. I chose this show, World of Color, because it has vibrant colors and would work very well together.
Lotus
This was one of my first projects and as another mandala like design, it was interesting to play around with shapes, colors, and opacity, to see how it would effect the movement,
Major vs. Sleep
Here I sampled 20 different college students comparing their major, average sleep a night, and average study hours a week, and put into a moving data sheet.
Fill Color = Average hours of sleep at night
Stroke Color = Major
Stroke Width = Age/3
Radius = Average hours of studying a week
Height of circles = Year in school
